INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTANT AND ASSURANCE

We’re seeking a skilled International Accountant and Assurance Specialist to join our finance team and support our global expansion efforts.

As an International Accountant and Assurance Specialist, you’ll oversee financial compliance and reporting activities across multiple jurisdictions (EU and non-EU) ensuring adherence to local and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements. You’ll play a key role in supporting our internal audit processes.

• Manage compliance of our entities in EU and non-EU jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Coordinate and lead internal audits, evaluating financial records, review and control measures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with international partners accountants/advisors to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and compliance across all jurisdictions (VAT return, VIES, CIT)
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements for audits and liaise with external auditors, ensuring audit readiness and support.
• Develop and maintain documentation of financial policies and procedures, ensuring consistency across all locations.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify areas for improvement, and recommend actionable solutions to mitigate financial and operational risk.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
• 5+ years of experience in international accounting and audit functions, ideally within the sportsbook, online gaming, or fintech sectors.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and local GAAP in key jurisdictions (Malta/Cyprus, Latvia)
• Proven experience in internal audit processes.
• Familiarity with multi-currency accounting and financial reporting tools, with advanced proficiency in Excel and experience in ERP systems (e.g. MS Navision).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
