JOB MISSION

The Portfolio Credit risk analyst will be responsible for creating and maintaining analysis to support decision-making by the Portfolio Credit Risk Manager and Hub Credit Risk Officer. In your role as a Credit risk analyst, you will be responsible to support the development, monitoring, and optimization of lending products by providing data-driven insights, enhancing risk management strategies, and ensuring portfolio performance aligns with the organization's financial objectives.

OUTCOMES

  • You will deliver detailed and accurate analyses of portfolio performance, identifying key trends, risk exposures, and areas of concern
  • Produce timely and actionable reports to support decision-making by the Portfolio Credit Risk Manager and Hub Credit Risk Officer
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain robust risk monitoring frameworks to detect early warning signs of credit deterioration
  • Contribute to experiments or pilot programs designed to test and optimize new risk strategies or product enhancements
  • Use advanced data analysis tools to provide insights and recommendations for improving portfolio health and profitability
  • Assist in presenting findings and recommendations in a clear, concise manner to support internal stakeholders
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to proactively adapt risk strategies

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 1 year of experience in Credit risk management within a financial institution or a related field
  • A university degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or a similar field
  • Experience in a data-driven lending organization, with exposure to data analysis processes
  • Proficiency in working with data analysis tools and databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
  • Solid analytical skills with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
  • Good Latvian and English language skills, sufficient for professional communication and documentation
