Opportunity Profile

We’re looking for a confident and outgoing individual to join the Water team as a Tenant Engagement Officer, working in partnership with Affinity Water. This is a fully field based role, perfect for someone with experience in tenant liaison, accompanied viewings, property inspections, or similar customer facing roles.


You’ll be engaging directly with residents at their homes, explaining a free water saving upgrade, and carrying out simple indoor assessments to book installations.

Responsibilities

  • Visit residential properties to speak with occupants about water efficiency upgrades.
  • Carry out basic internal surveys (Home Water MOTs) – including meter readings, tap/shower flow checks, and suitability assessments.
  • Book appointments for follow up installations with our plumbing team.
  • Use a project specific CRM system to record findings, manage appointments, and update records accurately.
  • Provide clear and friendly explanations about the service, benefits, and what to expect during the installation.
  • Manage your own daily schedule and stock levels.
  • Ensure that all customers receive relevant information leaflets and follow up documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with the operations and plumbing teams to ensure a smooth handover.



What we are looking for

Essential:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a face-to-face customer service or field-based role.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage your own diary.
  • Full UK driving licence, access to your own vehicle, and business use insurance.
  • Comfortable using tablets/phones for CRM updates and reporting.
  • Willing to undergo a DBS check.


Desirable:

  • Experience in canvassing, door-to-door outreach, or working in housing/lettings/property management.
  • Prior knowledge of water efficiency or plumbing (not essential – training provided).
