What you will do:

Job Summary:


The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing procurement activities in accordance with established company procedures, ensuring timely, cost-effective, transparent, and compliant purchasing of goods and services while supporting business operations and maintaining strong supplier relationships.



Key Responsibilities:


1.     Procurement Management


  • Follow established centralized procurement procedures.
  • Raise procurement requests and create Purchase Orders (POs) where required.
  • Assist with invoice submission and related procurement documentation.


2.     Supplier Management


  • Maintain and update the Supplier Master Vendor List.
  • Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with approved suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance, pricing, quality, delivery, and service levels.


3.     Supplier Negotiation & Market Research


  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best available rates and terms.
  • Conduct regular market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Maintain relevant pricing information in internal procurement systems.


4.     Asset Procurement


  • Support the procurement of assets, including sourcing, tagging, scanning, and reconciliation of company-wide assets.


5.     Process Improvement


  • Identify and recommend continuous improvements to procurement processes and procedures.
  • Report system/process issues and work closely with relevant business teams to resolve them.


6.     Training & Compliance


  • Provide guidance and training to employees on procurement processes and procedures.
  • Communicate changes to procurement policies and ensure employees are aware of and comply with updated requirements.


7.     Cost Management


  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support cost-reduction initiatives without compromising product/service quality or business requirements.


8.     Demand & Purchasing Planning


  • Collaborate with Area Sales Managers and other stakeholders to forecast purchasing requirements.
  • Ensure purchasing activities are aligned with approved standards, budgets, and business needs.


9.     Procurement Operations


  • Manage the procurement lifecycle from requisition through order placement and delivery.
  • Monitor delivery, warranty, and other applicable timelines.
  • Ensure procurement activities are properly documented and tracked.


10. General Support


  • Provide ad-hoc procurement and operational support as required.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Procurement Manager, Country Manager, Head of Operations, or BA & Finance Manager.



What you will need:

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant 3years experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations.
  • Good knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and purchasing practices.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of cost control and market pricing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience using ERP/procurement systems is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
