Sourcing Specialist - Freelancer (China)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Sourcing Specialist - Freelancer to support product development tasks. In this role, you will work remotely and  be responsible for coordinating with internal teams and external partners to support the team to complete the sourcing task within the required timeline.

You will work closely with suppliers, factories, material market shops, online shops, and cross-functional teams to monitor sourcing progress, update status to team members, and support ad hoc projects/tasks.

• Sourcing suitable fabric and trims, collecting/purchasing samples and quotations.  
• Arranging sample shipments, tracking logistics, and maintaining records. 
• Communicating with suppliers for price inquiries, comparisons, and cost analysis.  
• Organizing development documents to ensure clear and accurate information.  
• Maintain effective communication between the Vietnam office and China-based suppliers.
• Provide regular updates and reports on sourcing progress and issues.
• Other tasks of assisting in new style development

• Good command of English for professional communication (written and verbal).
• Solid understanding of textiles and garment manufacturing processes.
• Proven track record working with factories in China, preferably in apparel/textiles.
• Familiarity with fabric and trim markets; existing supplier resources are a plus.  
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to multitask efficiently.  
• Demonstrated high ethical standards and trustworthiness in dealing with suppliers, pricing, and confidential information.
• Ability to travel to factories within China when required.
• Primarily remote work with occasional market visits.
