• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation frameworks, ensuring they are scalable and efficient to meet the needs of the team and projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to write, execute, and improve automated test suites, while integrating them into CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
• Work closely with DevOps to ensure test environments are set up and maintained, contributing to continuous testing throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provide guidance to the development team in aligning QA efforts with the software development lifecycle, particularly through Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Mentor and coach junior QA engineers, fostering a collaborative environment where team members can grow their skills and contribute to the quality of the software.
• Define, enforce, and continuously improve automation best practices that set the standard for testing throughout the organization.
• Engage with stakeholders across the business to communicate automation progress, provide insights, and influence continuous improvements in the engineering teams.
• Drive innovation in automation, including white box and black box testing, while exploring new tools and techniques that enhance test coverage.

• Extensive experience in QA test automation, with a demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams.
• Experience leading the development and maintenance of automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar, with experience integrating these tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong programming skills in languages like C#, Java, Python, or TypeScript.
• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) (or a willingness to adopt these practices).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, cloud environments, and CI/CD pipelines, with the ability to advise on best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive quality initiatives across the company.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• At least one advanced certification in QA (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Level or equivalent).
• Additional expert-level certifications (e.g., ISTQB Expert Level) will be considered a plus and show a commitment to mastering QA.
• Experience with performance testing or security testing, or a strong interest in developing these skills.
• Familiarity with managing test data and environments in complex systems.
