As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will analyze, develop, and implement data flows to deliver data for dashboards and reports using Tableau or PowerBI. This role requires a deep understanding of data pipeline design and configuration using dbt as an ETL tool, Azure DataLake and Snowflake for data storage, as well as knowledge of related data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI. Overall, you will:

• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into a cloud-hosted data solution based on Azure data services
• Clean, structure, and standardize data to ensure consistent and reliable analysis
• Design and implement data quality checks based on requirements and results of data profiling
• Engineer, design, and implement data pipelines, including requirements alignment, extracting/loading data into Snowflake, extracting/loading data into Azure DataLake, and understanding, redesigning, and adapting complex data transformation rules with dbt
• Create and implement complex logic for data transformation, including building data quality checks with dbt
• Work closely with Data Analysts and other teams to understand their analytical requirements
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather their requirements for data availability, data quality, and data visualization.

• Solid understanding of data analysis concepts
• Previous experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI
• Experience with relational databases, knowledge of SQL for data querying
• Experience with ETL scripts on Python
• Proficiency with the creation and implementation of complex data transformation logic
• Ability to recognize and advise on synergies and potentials
• Ability to explain data transformation rules, data patterns, and meaning of data structures to the business stakeholders
• Fluent in written and spoken English and German
• Degree in Computer Science or similar.
