5G Operation Engineer

• Lead the definition and roll-out of the support and operations processes and tools for the 5G program.
• Lead the support and operations of the customers’ 5G networks and internal 5G Lab.
• Take part of the On-Call service rotation for providing support 24/7.
• Support and take part in 5G network deployment projects to customers remotely as well occasionally on premises when required.
• Collaborate with 5G product development team to continuously improve the product.

• Previous experience in network support and operations roles.
• Strong experience in Linux operating system.
• Solid work experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong work experience with virtualization technologies.
• Solid work experience in networking technologies.
• Experience troubleshooting complex networks.
• Availability to travel to customer premises primarily within Germany but also abroad.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

• Experience with Proxmox.
• Good understanding of layer 2 and 3 networking.
• Knowledge in mobile networks such as 4G and 5G.
• ITIL Knowledge
• Fluency in written and spoken German.
