Job Brief

We are seeking a results-driven and highly skilled Conversion Rate Optimizer Lead to own and optimize the entire user journey at Paybis, from first impression to repeat transaction. You will play a key role in driving growth across both our B2B and B2C businesses by designing and executing high-impact experiments aimed at improving website conversion, user activation, retention, and monetization. As part of our dynamic team, you will work at the intersection of marketing, product, design, and data, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization of our user funnels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and optimise the entire funnel — from paid/organic traffic through to completed crypto transactions and repeat purchases for our B2C customers, and from KYB self-serve onboarding through to growth in share of wallet for our B2B customers.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of A/B and multivariate tests across web, app and product surfaces.
  • Deeply understand our user segments and behaviours using quantitative and qualitative data. Knowledge of GA4, Hotjar, Amplitude or similar platforms alongside the role of session replays and user surveys is essential.
  • Partner with marketing, design, product, and engineering to implement high-impact, fast-moving tests and permanent improvements.
  • Work closely with performance marketing to optimise traffic acquisition paths (landing pages, onboarding, CTAs).
  • Develop hypotheses and experiments to increase funnel conversion rate, reduce drop-off, and accelerate time to first transaction, particular through KYC/ KYB and app onboarding flows.
  • Define and monitor success metrics across lifecycle stages (activation, conversion, retention).
  • Lead growth hacking initiatives and implement PLG tactics such as product onboarding improvements, trial flows, and in-product nudges.
  • Build dashboards and reporting structures for CRO initiatives to ensure visibility and buy-in.
  • Stay up to date on best practices, competitors’ strategies, and new CRO tools and frameworks.


Requirements

Must-Have Experience:

  • 4–6 years of experience in CRO, growth, product marketing, or UX optimization roles, ideally within the fintech, payments, crypto, or Web3 spaces.
  • Proven track record in improving conversion rates across both B2B and B2C funnels.
  • Hands-on experience with high-velocity A/B testing programs and experimentation platforms such as Google Optimize, VWO, Optimizely, etc.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools such as GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude, and Hotjar; SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of product-led growth, customer lifecycle strategy, and retention optimization.
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, design, and engineering.

Good to Have:

  • Experience in the crypto, Web3, or regulated financial industries.
  • Familiarity with personalization engines, UX copywriting, or micro-survey design.
  • Understanding of SEO, PPC, and paid social conversion tactics and their impact on CRO.
  • Familiarity with additional CRO tools such as Heap, FullStory, Clarity, Mouseflow, and AB Tasty.
