We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our high-performing team, supporting multiple markets globally and owning key global marketing projects. This role is a maternity cover position for 9 months. 

Job Purpose

Maternity Cover for 9 months - Based in Porto


As a Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth in various markets while leading global marketing initiatives. This position requires strategic, data-driven thinking, a strong sense of ownership for project results, and the ability to work effectively across diverse markets. 


This role calls for someone with commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to deliver impactful results. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: Create comprehensive marketing plans aligned with global objectives to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention across markets. 
  • Lead Regional and Global Projects: Own the development, implementation, and results of global marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and achieving measurable outcomes. 
  • Market Research and Customer Insights: Conduct research to identify trends, target audience preferences, and competitive landscapes. Engage with customers through events, feedback sessions, and courses to refine strategies. 
  • Adapt Campaigns for Local Markets: Tailor global campaigns to meet local market needs while maintaining alignment with core brand messages and business priorities. 
  • Liaise with official and corporate partners to establish and grow partnership marketing initiatives. 
  • Integrated Campaign Management: Plan and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, events, PR activities and partnerships, ensuring timely and effective execution. 
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with the internal and external teams to align efforts, drive lead generation, and optimize conversion strategies. 
  • Performance Analysis: Use data-driven insights to monitor campaign performance, sharing regular reports with key stakeholders, and optimizing strategies for maximum ROI. 
  • Managing a relationship with external agency to ensure an efficient social media strategy and implementation. 
  • Budget Management: Allocate resources efficiently, ensuring effective use of budgets to achieve marketing objectives. 


Key Skills and Attributes

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marketing or related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience, including proven success in lead generation and inbound marketing. 
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategies, and automation tools. 
  • Experience leading and executing marketing initiatives in diverse market contexts. 
  • Proficient in leveraging data insights for decision-making and campaign optimization. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills. 
  • Experience in institutional or corporate communications, including managing internal and external messaging. 
  • Project management expertise with a track record of delivering measurable results. 


  • Languages: Fluent in written and spoken French and English. Additional proficiency in French, German, or Spanish is a strong advantage.

Benefits

Annual Leave Entitlement: 23 days plus public holidays, plus additional service dates after 3 years one additional holiday, and after 10 year one additional holiday, to a maximum of 25.


Additional Leave: Our offices close annually for the afternoon on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve globally. All employees are provided with company paid leave for these periods.


Weekly Hours: 40 


Location: Central city location (Porto) near public transportation. Office based role but hybrid working available - usually 3 days in the office and 2 working from home.
