Job Purpose

The Marketing Executive is a key member of the Marketing Team, responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns to drive business growth within the country. Working closely with the Marketing Business Partner, this role requires a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Marketing Executive will contribute to achieving marketing objectives, implementing tactics, and delivering impactful marketing initiatives.


The individual must collaborate and work closely with Sales, Operations and Product Development to achieve business goals and exceed budget/targets. They must also collaborate with colleagues in central marketing to leverage data-driven insights and take ownership of marketing initiatives to achieve key performance indicators and drive the overall success of the organisation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns aligned with the overall strategy, under the guidance of the Marketing Business Partner.
  • Support the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, advertising, PR, events, and partnerships.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audience segments, market trends, and competitor activities, contributing insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of marketing activities, including content creation, creative development, and campaign delivery.
  • Assist in managing social media channels, website content, and other digital marketing platforms to drive engagement and brand awareness.
  • Support the tracking and analysis of marketing campaign performance, utilising key metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness and identify areas for optimisation.
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing collateral, including presentations, brochures, and sales materials, ensuring brand consistency and messaging alignment.
  • Assist in coordinating marketing events and sponsorships, including logistics, materials preparation, and post-event follow-up.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices, providing recommendations for innovative marketing approaches.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support lead generation, nurturing, and conversion efforts, ensuring seamless integration between marketing and sales activities.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a marketing role or relevant internships, demonstrating exposure to marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels, social media platforms, content management systems, and marketing automation tools is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to create engaging content.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Takes ownership and is accountable.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to contribute innovative ideas to marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Knowledge of the local market landscape, consumer behaviour, and cultural nuances within the country.

Annual Leave Entitlement: UK 25 days increasing an additional day after 3 years of service and again by an additional day after 10 years service - to a total of 27 days per annum.


Additional Leave: Office closure on the afternoon of before the 25th December and the 1st January each year.

 

Pension: UK Employee 4% and Employer 5%. The employer contribution increases with a step change % of 1% increase every 3 years to a max of 10%.

 

Weekly Hours: UK 37.5


Base: Office based in Swindon with some hybrid working available.
