Role & Responsibilities

Barrows is looking for a new, energetic, vibrant Senior Director of Client Partnerships & Growth to support the front end of their core business. The Senior Client Partnership Director is responsible for developing and maintaining a trusted relationship with the client and supporting a spirit of partnership. This role will be proactive in learning about the client’s business needs and company culture, educating the project team, identifying new business opportunities, and providing a high level of service in managing and building deep, sustainable client relationships.

Responsibilities


 In addition to bringing this killer attitude, energy, and veteran skill set, they must be able to lead clients and teams with the following key accountabilities:

  • Planning and delivering new business opportunities, primarily with new clients and horizontally across existing clients
  • Manage creative projects and serve as key liaison among clients, strategy, and design teams, clearly defining project scope, managing timelines and ensuring ongoing communication among all parties
  • Act as the main point of contact for a group of dedicated clients and manage their project needs from initial brief to implementation within the studio to final reveal
  • Direct, guide, and support output for the creative team working on the project
  • Negotiate and price key client contracts, deliverables, and scope of work
  • Communicate with clients and sales team on project statuses as well as scope and timeline changes in order to set proper client expectations
  • Monitor project performance against client’s objectives, making optimization recommendations as necessary
  • Manage appropriate and innovative retail visibility solutions
  • Deliver ad hoc reports and analysis internally to stakeholders
  • Support pre-forecasting of client requirements
  • Build deep and sustainable client relationships at all levels
  • Achieve a culture of accountability, discipline, and pride across the total business with a view to being the best company in the industry

Qualifications

  • 10 years of agency and/or strategy experience in brand, trade or shopper marketing or category management/sales
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Superior storytelling ability with excellent presentation skills
  • Polished writing ability with professional tone
  • Experience developing category or retailer led BTL programming, retail strategy, and shopper journeys strongly preferred
  • Bring forth a passion for the psychology behind how and why shoppers make purchase decisions
  • Exhibit a deep understanding of the US retail landscape, inclusive of channel variation and top retailers in the marketplace
  • Toolkit and BTL experience preferred
  • Shopper experience and holistic 360-degree planning preferred
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, while working quickly against short deadlines
  • Ability to work in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)


Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this role is $155,000 - $180,000*

*exact compensation will be determined based on individual experience
