Role & Responsibilties

Our London office is looking for a motivated, talented Financial Controller who demonstrates a strong passion for accounting and finance and a meticulous approach to financial data, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Possesses keen analytical skills and the ability to meticulously review financial information, identify issues, and implement solutions. The ideal candidate will be excited about not only leading but being actively involved in the day-to-day details of the North America business. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of reporting including monthly financial statements, variance analysis, cash flow analysis and other reporting as may be required
  • Manage the quarterly forecasting cycles and consolidation of income statements at a group level
  • Provide operating companies with technical accounting advice, guidance and assistance, either directly or alongside external advisors
  • Look after the your opco’s annual financial audit
  • Design, develop and build accounting policies and control for all areas of accounting
  • Monthly presentation of financial information to leadership
  • Oversee all accounting operations performed by Accountants including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, and revenue recognition
  • Review and publish timely monthly management accounts with supporting commentary
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
  • Own the annual audit process for your entity as the point person with our auditors
  • Ensure a timely month-end and year-end close process
  • Liaise with the tax team quarterly to manage and comply with local government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Create cost saving initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Commercials Lead on costing and pricing workings and exercises, on an as needed basis
  • Adhoc - Any other reasonable request from management including particular projects as and when needed


Qualifications

  • CPA and 8+ years’ Accounting experience
  • Experience with Sage X3 preferred
  • Prior Agency experience preferred
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP and knowledge of IFRS
  • Explain and communicate technical accounting requirements
  • Strong computer knowledge including, but not limited to Sage and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced spreadsheet based skills)
  • Ability to set deadlines and achieve them
  • Critical analysis skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to keep company information confidential
  • Understanding the nature of data
  • Finance or Accounting degree is preferred 


Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this role is *$110,000 - $160,000*

*exact compensation will be determined based on individual experience
