Role

We are seeking a skilled Ad Operations Manager to join our retail media team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution and optimization of advertising campaigns across our digital platforms in store. The Ad Ops Manager will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, advertisers, and technology partners to deliver effective and efficient ad experiences and maximize occupancy/yield.

Responsibilities

Campaign Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end process of ad campaign execution, from trafficking to optimization.
  • Manage ad placements, formats, and creative specifications to ensure alignment with client goals and platform requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure campaigns meet delivery and performance KPIs for participating brands.


Technical Operations:

  • Ability to handle technical workflows integrated with our proprietary CMS Connect OS and internal production management systems.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to ad serving and creative assets.
  • Maintain quality control to ensure ads are rendered accurately and in compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Ability to facilitate retailer API integrations together with the creative production team, in order to optimize the delivery ads.


Optimization & Reporting:

  • Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • Develop detailed post-campaign reports highlighting results, successes, and areas for optimization.
  • Collaborate with data analytics teams to refine audience targeting and personalization strategies.


Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with sales, account management, and creative teams to support client objectives.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to enhance platform capabilities.
  • Build strong relationships with advertisers, ensuring satisfaction and campaign success.


Compliance & Best Practices:

  • Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Stay updated on industry trends, ad technologies, and retail media innovations.
  • Develop and implement best practices for campaign workflows and operational efficiencies.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital advertising operations, preferably within retail media.
  • Proficiency with ad serving platforms, DSPs, and retail media networks.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with programmatic advertising and audience segmentation.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Experience with project management tools like Monday.com, Click Up or Notion.
  • Familiarity with retail media platforms, in-store technologies, and programmatic advertising tools.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $100,000*

*exact compensation will be determined based on individual experience
