ENGINEERING MANAGER

AGCSOFT is looking for a hands-on and experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow multiple development teams working on both platform and product-level solutions. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent people management skills, and a passion for building scalable engineering processes. Gross salary from 7300 EUR

• 10+ years of experience in software development, including hands-on involvement in project delivery.
• Proven experience in a team leadership role.
• Experience conducting performance and salary reviews, as well as developing and mentoring team members.
• Track record of planning, aligning, and executing technical roadmaps, including technical debt management.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with product and business stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD practices, engineering workflows, branching strategies, and testing approaches.
• Experience with automation of key engineering processes (deployment, testing, code review, release management, etc.).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Direct management of multiple development teams (both product and platform-focused).
• Collaboration with product and business stakeholders on roadmap planning, priority alignment, and technical debt management.
• Technical ownership and execution of delivery processes.
• Continuous improvement of engineering practices and processes.
• Willingness to contribute directly to technical tasks when necessary (hands-on mode).

• Previous experience as an Engineering Manager or Development Manager.
• Hands-on experience with PHP and/or Golang.
• Strong software architecture background and system design expertise.

• 10+ gadu pieredze programmatūras izstrādē, tostarp praktiska iesaiste projektu realizācijā.
• Pierādīta pieredze komandas vadībā.
• Pieredze darbā ar snieguma un atalgojuma pārskatīšanu, kā arī darbinieku attīstības un mentorēšanas procesos.
• Spēja plānot, saskaņot un ieviest tehniskās ceļakartes, tostarp pārvaldīt tehnisko parādu.

• Dziļa izpratne par CI/CD praksēm, inženierijas darba plūsmām, zarošanas (branching) stratēģijām un testēšanas pieejām.
• Pieredze galveno inženiertehnisko procesu automatizācijā (izvietošana, testēšana, koda pārskatīšana, laidieni u.c.).
