DBA - Database Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain our organization's databases, ensuring their performance, security, and reliability. The DBA will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing database solutions that support our business operations and data-driven decision-making processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and availability.

• DB design and implementation
• Performance monitoring and tuning
• Data security and backup
• DB migration and upgrades
• Hardware capacity planning

• Proven DBA experience
• Strong SQL knowledge (writing/debugging/optimisation of complex SQL queries)
• Solid experience with at least one RDBMS - MySQL/PostgreSQL/MSSQL/Oracle
• Skilled in database performance tuning and optimisation
• Knowledge of any scripting languages - Python/PHP/Bash
• Public clouds experience - AWS/GCP/Azure

• Knowledge of any columnar DBMS - ClickHouse/Redshift/Snowflake
• Experience with ETL processes and tools
• Any DWH solutions
• Experience of building advanced analytics systems
• Kafka/Kafka Streams/Kafka Connect
• Apache Spark
