ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of delivering transformative digital solutions to our clients using our Simulation and Digital Twin Software.


Reporting to the Sales Director, Nuclear, you will have the opportunity to manage and nurture client relationships, promote our industry-leading simulation and digital twin platforms, and identify new opportunities to help clients optimise their processes and achieve their operational goals.


You will also play a critical role in managing sales funnels and providing accurate forecasting to support the company’s strategic planning and revenue growth.

Please note: this role is homebased, but you'll be required to reside in the Aberdeen region.

SUMMARY OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

  • Drive Growth in Simulation & Digital Twin Solutions: Take full ownership of assigned accounts, focusing on expanding the adoption of ITI Group's simulation and digital twin software. Proactively identify opportunities to deliver value through advanced modelling and optimisation tools. 
  • Provide Client-Centric Solutions: Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and challenges. Leverage ITI’s simulation platforms to provide tailored recommendations that improve efficiency, productivity, and decision-making. 
  • Manage Sales Funnel: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to ensure sustained growth and revenue generation. Track progress through all stages of the sales funnel and implement strategies to advance opportunities. 
  • Accurately Forecast: Utilise data and insights from client interactions to provide accurate revenue forecasts. Regularly review pipeline health and ensure alignment with company growth targets. 
  • Collaborate with Technical Teams: Partner with internal teams—including software development, engineering, and technical support—to ensure seamless implementation and support of simulation and digital twin solutions for clients. 
  • Data-Driven Account Management: Utilise client insights and operational data to monitor account performance and identify trends or areas for improvement in software utilisation. 
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Engage with stakeholders at all levels, from operations teams to C-suite executives, demonstrating the value of digital transformation through simulation technologies. 
  • Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Continuously update your knowledge of simulation, digital twin advancements, and industry trends to ensure clients benefit from cutting-edge solutions and innovative practices. 
  • Successfully complete all identified training both in-house and external, as required. 
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior colleagues, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment. 
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, procedures and protocols. 
  • Assist with any other duties reasonably requested and in line with the requirements of the post. 

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for:


Experience and Knowledge

  • Experience: 2-4 years in account management, customer success, or a similar role, preferably within the simulation software, digital twin, or industrial automation sectors. 
  • Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of simulation and digital twin software or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply technical concepts in client discussions. 
  • Sales Acumen: Proven experience managing sales funnels and providing accurate forecasting to support strategic growth. 
  • Commercially astute with financial appreciation.


Skills and Abilities

  • Problem-Solving: Analytical skills to identify operational challenges and propose data-driven solutions using digital twin technology. 
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills for building relationships, explaining complex technical concepts, and guiding clients toward successful software adoption. 
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and oversee multiple client accounts with professionalism and efficiency. 
  • Articulate and numerate.
  • Strong and well-rehearsed negotiation skills.
  • Good presentation skills 
  • Able to work to strict deadlines and deliver high quality results 
  • Able to multi-task, working on various issues throughout the working day 
  • A full UK driving licence or indication of working towards one
  • A passport or the ability to obtain one
