Description
The Visitor Services Manager is part of the Visitor Operations Team that is responsible for the overall day to day management of the Visitor Operations Department by providing support and expertise to enhance the services provided to Dublin Zoo’s Visitors
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the Visitor Operations team and deliver strategic measures to create a motivational environment
- Support and direct the professional development of all staff within the departments.
- Strengthen accountability within the department, particularly at management and supervisory level.
- Promote a harmonious, safe and supportive work environment.
- Assist HR department in the search and selection of new employees and development of existing employees.
- Assist HR department with all employee relations, including training, developmental, disciplinary and investigatory matters, and health and safety matters.
- Ensuring a culture of excellent customer service is maintained.
- Planning and prioritising workloads.
- Leading a highly-effective team in day-to-day operations, training and coaching your team to ensure growth, development and performance excellence.
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement among the team.
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness, merchandising and compliance with health & safety.
