Senior Accountant

• Higher education in finance, accounting, or economics; 
• Experience as a full-cycle accountant and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles; 
• Good MS Excel skills (including VLOOKUP, PivotTables); 
• Experience working with various accounting systems is an advantage (e.g., Sage, SAP, Tilde, ERP); 
• Fluency in Latvian and good conversational skills in English 
• Accuracy, a strong sense of responsibility, and a positive attitude toward work. 

• Ensuring the full accounting cycle in accordance with Latvian legislation; 
• Processing, recording, and controlling accounting documents; 
• Regularly checking and reconciling account turnovers and balances; 
• Preparing financial and tax reports for management, government, and financial institutions; 
• Providing suggestions to improve accounting processes and efficiency; 
• Maintaining close cooperation with the company’s accounting department and the group’s lead accountants; 
• Supporting and substituting the Chief Accountant during her absence.
