Help retain and grow our existing customer base and ensure smooth customer experience!

We are looking for a data-driven Retention Manager to maximize customer lifetime value, drive retention, and increase sales and revenue from existing customers across all Eleving Europe markets, supervising markets from our HQ. This role owns repeat sales, refinancing, upselling, and cross-selling strategies, ensuring customers continue engaging with our range of products.  

You will be reporting to Chief Commercial Officer and working cross-functionally with commercial team (New sales & Customer Journey, Partnerships & Business Development, Customer Success, Process Efficiency, Product Designs, AI), as well as Credit Risk, Data Science, IT, Marketing and country Sales teams.

YOUR MAIN GOALS WILL BE:

Retention & win-back strategies

  • Reduce churn & improve retention through targeted, data-driven engagement strategies.
  • Work with AI/Data Science to develop predictive churn models and proactively engage at-risk customers.
  • Design win-back campaigns to re-engage inactive customers with tailored financial solutions.


Upsell & refinancing offers

  • Optimize sub-agreement & top-up loan processes to make refinancing fast, seamless, and attractive.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Credit Risk and Finance teams to develop and apply risk-adjusted refinancing strategies.
  • Improve conversion of repeat financing offers by refining pricing, eligibility, and communication tactics.


Cross-selling & monetization expansion

  • Expand cross-sell opportunities (insurance, warranties, add-on services) to drive incremental revenue.
  • Work with other teams to introduce new value-added financial or other products.
  • Ensure customers receive personalized upsell offers based on their behaviour, risk profile, and transaction history.


Process optimization & efficiency gains

  • Reduce time from sub-agreement initiation to approval, improving repeat sales efficiency.
  • Work with Customer Success and Sales teams to refine personalized upsell & renewal communication.
  • Automate loan renewal & refinancing offers using Data Science and AI-driven decisioning models.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • 3+ years in sales, portfolio growth, or customer lifecycle management in fintech, lending, insurance, telecom or subscription-based industries.
  • Strong background in data-driven retention, churn reduction, and upsell strategies.
  • Experience with Data Science, AI-driven engagement models (predictive churn, behavior-based targeting) is considered a benefit.
  • Understanding of loan refinancing, sub-agreements, and risk-adjusted pricing strategies.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Credit Risk, Product, and Customer Success to improve portfolio performance.
  • Analytical mindset – ability to work with performance data & iterate monetization strategies.
