Customer Journey Manager

We are looking for a data-driven, high-impact Customer Journey Manager to lead new loan originations and drive profitable sales growth across all Eleving Europe markets, supervising markets from our HQ. This role is responsible for optimizing the customer acquisition funnel, increasing conversion rates, and ensuring risk-adjusted profitability. You will own the entire loan application lifecycle – from the moment lead enters our sales channels to loan issuance.   

You will be reporting to Chief Commercial Officer and working cross-functionally with commercial team (Repeated Sales, Partnerships & Business Development, Customer Success, Process Efficiency, Product Designs, AI), as well as Credit Risk, Data Science, IT, Marketing and country Sales teams.

YOUR MAIN GOALS WILL BE:

Sales strategy & execution 

  • Define and execute the sales strategy across digital channels for all our markets (website, customer self-service app, branches, calls). 
  • Align sales execution with risk management & revenue strategy to ensure healthy, profitable growth. 
  • Work with Commercial, Credit Risk and Finance teams to prioritize high-value, low-risk customer segments. 
  • Provide insights to and work with Marketing to optimize lead generation, ensuring better loan approval and conversion. 

Conversion optimization & customer experience 

  • Identify and remove friction points in the loan application process to increase approval rates. 
  • Collaborate with Product Designers & AI teams to optimize the digital sales funnel & reduce drop-offs. 
  • Reduce time-to-decision and time-to-loan issuance across all digital channels. 

Sales team performance & market execution 

  • Collaborate with Sales Process Efficiency Manager to develop standardized best practices across local sales teams to drive execution efficiency. 
  • Provide training, benchmarks, and playbooks to increase sales team productivity. 
  • Ensure full collaboration with country teams, and HUB leadership to accelerate growth. 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • 3+ years in sales leadership, growth management, or application lifecycle management. 
  • Proven experience scaling sales funnels in fintech, lending, insurance, e-commerce, or digital marketplaces. 
  • Deep understanding of customer acquisition, funnel optimization, and conversion rate improvements. 
  • Strong data-driven mindset – ability to interpret performance data & adjust strategies accordingly. 
  • Experience working with AI, automation, or digital tools to enhance customer onboarding & sales execution. 
  • Ability to align risk and revenue strategy while driving aggressive sales targets. 
  • Experience in managing distributed teams and working cross-functionally with Credit Risk, Product, Marketing and other teams.
