Barrows

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking highly skilled mid-level Finished Artist / Executional Designer to join our dynamic team of high-energy individuals at Barrows Cape Town. In this role you will be required to execute existing creative onto numerous international retailer based templates in collaboration with our experienced international sales and local design teams specifically for Unilever Global. You will use your expert software skills and understanding, to translate a brief into various e-commerce sizes and iterations as well as delivering on print asset setups.


In addition to bringing a killer attitude and energy, this individual must be able to:


  • Take brief guidance from various team members both locally and abroad
  • Willing to work flexible hours based on the deadline deliverables and working with international counterparts
  • Collaborate with internal departments (creative, account management)
  • Sophisticated software understanding to execute brief deliverables
  • Able to take projects over from team members at various stages



Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in digital DTP, finished art, packaging
  • Proven ability to execute on scale and speed
  • Experience working with internal teams to foster a collaborative relationship with fellow co workers
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • 5 days per week in office

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this role is R18 000 to R28 000*

*exact compensation will be determined based on individual experience


The position will be a 3 year fixed term contract offer. Available immediately for the successful candidates and is an in office position based in Westlake Office Park in Cape Town
