Role Overview 

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Sales – Device Financing to lead our sales operations in Kenya. This pivotal role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing a nationwide sales team, and driving growth in our device financing segment.​ 

Key Responsibilities :


  • Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives and financial targets.​  
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team, setting clear performance metrics and fostering a culture of excellence.​ 
  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new sales channels, partnerships, and market opportunities to enhance customer acquisition and portfolio growth.​ 
  • Performance Monitoring: Utilize data analytics to track sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends, adjusting strategies as needed.​ 
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, risk, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and enhance the customer experience.​ 



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA is advantageous.​ 
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales leadership within device financing, telecommunications, or related financial services.​ 
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.​ 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.​ 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.​ 
  • In-depth understanding of the Kenyan market dynamics.​ 
  • Experience working with phone dealers and distributors is a strong plus but not mandatory.​
