Reporting to the Director Vendor Management, the Team Coordinator will be a pivotal team player, providing comprehensive support across a variety of areas, including project allocation, customer onboarding, linguist quality management, and linguistic team creation. This role is crucial in identifying potential issues and coaching junior team members to ensure optimal performance. The ideal candidate is adept at client interaction, enjoys team leadership, has a keen attention to detail, and is committed to continuous learning and exceeding expectations. Location: Madrid or Seville

Working scheme: Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days at home)


ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Negotiate rates with suitable talented vendors and update database with accurate information in a timely manner
  • Work closely and diligently with Project Management, Operations and Business Development teams to support recruitment needs
  • Determine resource requirements and optimal cost structure based on objectives and operational needs
  • Monitor resource performance and provide feedback where required
  • Recruit and allocate vendors for projects based on client criteria
  • Identify resource gaps and proactively recruit subject matter specialists to expand our talent pool
  • Conduct regular key account reviews with PMs to ensure availability and retention of key resources at competitive rates
  • Provide timely KPI reports
  • Proactively lead the identification of any potential issues and resolve and close identified gaps
  • Actively participate in and support business development efforts and client meetings as well as other departments
  • Ownership and maintenance of corresponding Vendor Management processes
  • Participate in mentoring or training of junior colleagues
  • Support Director and other Team Coordinators in daily team management

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • University degree in relevant discipline (translation, languages) or equivalent experience
  • Fluent English and ideally one other language, both spoken and written, are preferred for this position
  • 4+ years of Vendor Management experience
  • People management experience preferred
  • Experience with market research clients preferred
