SHORT DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Frontend Performance Test Engineer to join our team and ensure the performance of our product meets high standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in performance testing, web technologies, and an analytical mindset for identifying and resolving performance issues.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the user experience and optimize the frontend for both speed and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement, execute manual and automated performance tests.
• Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and propose effective solutions
• Conduct load testing and assess performance metrics using tools like JMeter, k6
• Audit performance using Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, WebPageTest, and other analysis tools
• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous performance validation
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and designers to implement performance best practices
• Communicate findings and recommend performance improvements to team members

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong understanding of performance testing fundamentals and methodologies
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with a focus on performance optimization
• Hands-on experience with performance testing and monitoring tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, Lighthouse, Datadog)
• Familiarity with browser caching, CDNs, HTTP protocols, and service workers
• Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and their impact on SEO and user experience
• Ability to analyze and resolve render-blocking resources and optimize loading techniques
• Proficiency in integrating performance tests with CI/CD using GitLab or similar tools
• Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools like Grafana or Elastic APM
• Experience with docker and Git

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with mobile performance tools and Web Apps
• Knowledge of real-user monitoring (RUM) solutions and how to leverage them for performance insights

LANGUAGE:

• Upper-intermediate English proficiency is required knowledge of Ukrainian/Russian or Latvian is a plus
