As a Site Manager at Cenergist, you will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end delivery of our projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in line with contractual agreements. You will lead by example, ensuring health and safety are always a priority, while also managing site security, waste management, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards.

Key Tasks

  • To have read, always understood and comply with Company Policies and Procedures. 
  • Compiles and manages the Construction Phase Plan and ensures it stays up to date.  
  • Set up and manage the site risk register. 
  • Ensure Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety are managed on site. 
  • Ensure the Site Managers KPIs are met on a monthly basis.  
  • Manages the overall master project plan, based on detail supplied from internal and external areas. 
  • Responsibility for the building of the project health and safety file. 
  • Responsibility for weekly health and safety site audits. 
  • Responsibility to close out any actions raised from an internal or external site visit via the correct method i.e., summary of actions forms or NC register.    
  • Manage their site diary’s. 
  • Compiles monthly valuations and Accident and Incident for the Operations Director. 
  • Responsibility for tenant interaction and organisation and attendance of all consultation meetings. 
  • Identify any risks to the programme bring to the attention of Delivery Project Manager. 
  • Inspect and sign off work with the client ensure handover of all properties etc. 
  • Compile handover packs for all properties. 
  • Build the Operations and Maintenance Manuals. 
  • Ensures Operations Director has visibility of all programmes and associated deliverables. 
  • Strong able communicator with the ability to negotiate both with the customer and within business. 
  • Point of contact within the business for all site delivery aspects. 
  • Support Delivery Project Manager with commercial delivery of the project. 
  • Ensures quality standards are met and monitoring sub-contractors to ensure delivery standards and compliance are maintained. 
  • Any other duties identified by the Operations Director necessary to ensure successful project delivery are achieved. 
  • To be aware of the environmental aspects and impacts relevant to the work of the job holder as well as ensuring compliance with any environmental legislation that is applicable to the job. 


H&S

  

  • Ensure quality and health and safety are managed on site  
  • Ensure toolbox talks, inductions and safety briefings are being carried out. 
  • Ensure operatives are working safely, wearing appropriate PPE and working to agreed method statements.  
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Policy to the operation of work permits, site safety audits and weekly walk arounds.  
  • Carry out daily walk around adopting a “don’t walk by” approach to safety.  
  • Implement H&S behaviour/culture and Golden Rules. 



About You

  • Minimum of 5 years Site Management experience  
  • Experience in managing Mechanical design and build projects in-excess of £1 million within social housing sectors (desirable)  
  • Ability to manage and deliver projects with a strong attention to detail.  
  • An ability to analyse complex information and drawings. 
  • Commercial awareness 
  • Assess and report compliance trends and usage. 
  • Provide compliance advice, expertise and guidance to Service Areas supporting their business objectives. 
  • Possess strong computer abilities – Microsoft Office, Projects
