Opportunity Profile

Join our team as a Tenant Liaison Officer at Cenergist, where you’ll play a crucial role in managing relationships between residents, subcontractors, and our project teams. As a TLO, you’ll ensure smooth project operations by effectively handling resident communications, coordinating appointments, and resolving complaints promptly. Your proactive approach and strong interpersonal skills will help maintain high levels of resident satisfaction, as you work closely with the site management team to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, compliance with GDPR, and a passion for building positive community relationships.

Key Tasks

  • Be the point of contact for residents. 
  • Manage any queries or complaints in a timely manner. 
  • Attending and contributing to operational meetings 
  • Oversee the complaints procedure ensuring complaints are dealt with quickly and effectively. 
  • Working with site management team to keep residents fully informed. 
  • Liaise and support residents throughout planned and emergency works. 
  • Arrange all appointments.  
  • Support management with social value targets and commitment 
  • Identify any special needs or circumstances of individual residents. Ensuring they are recorded for wider team reference. 
  • Work with the site manager to assign set appointments for residents with specific needs. 
  • Maintain records in line with company procedures ensuring compliance with GDPR. 


About You

  • Proven experience in delivering high-level customer service, ideally with 4-5 years in a Tenant Liaison Officer or similar on-site role.
  • Skilled in handling complaints effectively, with a sensitive and empathetic approach.
  • Comfortable using computer systems for data entry and information processing.
  • Background in the construction industry, particularly in liaison or housing roles.
  • Experience in scheduling installations, especially for local authority domestic heating projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
