Hours of work: 40 hours p/w (Mon - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm)


Salary: £26,189.00 per annum,  plus either a company vehicle or £4,000 vehicle allowance per annum.

Purpose of the job

Reporting to the Repairs and Maintenance Team Leader as a Voids Operative you will be accountable for ensuring all properties are clean, hygienic and complaint to the specified standards. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Procedures

  • To ensure all accommodation is clean and fit for purpose.
  • Remove rubbish to a suitable place and arrange collection.
  • Carry-out minor defect rectification as directed.
  • To ensure company procedures are adhered to and all cleaning and defect records are completed and up to date.
  • Other duties as deemed reasonable by the Head of Property Services.


Connect and Collaborate

  • Work closely with your line manager and team members
  • Collaborate with others, attending meetings as required
  • Supporting team members and provide on-the-job training
  • Provide cover for other staff as agreed by line manager

  • Keep up-to-date with all written and verbal communications (i.e. emails/messages/calls)
  • Ensure all records are maintained and kept up-to-date according to company policies and procedures

  • Monitor own work levels, progress and development in the role
  • Undertake all core learning and development programmes as required
  • Undertake relevant learning according to agreed Personal Development Plan
  • Pursuing personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role and in accordance to agreed Personal Development Plan.
  • Make recommendations in regard to operational issues and enhancements.
