• Define, maintain, and communicate the product vision, keeping it aligned with company strategy and customer needs.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it stays structured, current, and reflective of business and customer priorities.
• Act as the main liaison between Business and IT, translating technical solutions into business value and vice versa.
• Write and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements with the development team to support accurate planning and delivery.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify business improvement opportunities and shape effective product solutions.
• Align input and expectations across multiple stakeholders, and document decisions in an acceptable, traceable format.
• Define and visualize business and product processes to support shared understanding and decision-making.
• Guide prioritization of features, enhancements, and fixes based on business impact, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
• Establish and promote best practices, standards, and procedures across product and business operations.
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of organizational systems, processes, and technology to inform recommendations to stakeholders.
• Maintain full traceability across the product or project description, ensuring it stays consistent with system limitations and free of contradictory requirements.

• 2–3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role in IT or software development, ideally in FinTech, lending, banking or payments
• Proven ability to own and prioritise a product backlog, balancing business value, risk and technical constraints and dependencies
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum
• Experience working with development teams and translating business needs into technical requirements
• Familiarity with product management tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
• Comfortable handling issues and escalations: assessing impact, setting priorities and keeping stakeholders informed
• Experience working with third-party integrations and APIs
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent knowledge in Latvian and English, as you will be working with colleagues across other countries
• Higher education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Understanding of the lending customer journey will be considered as a strong advantage.
