📌About The Role
As a Care Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of our domicilliary care services. You will work closely with Care Coordinators, Senior Management, Care Staff, Service Users, and external professionals to ensure the effective administration and organisation of care services.
This is a varied and experienced role requiring excellent communication skills, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work efficiently as part of the larger team.
The successful candidate will help ensure our services remain compliant, organised, responsive, and person-centred at all times.
✅Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support to the office and management team.
- Maintain accurate electronic records.
- Process and update Service user and employee documentation.
- Manage incoming telephone calls, emails and enquiries professionally.
- Support with rota administration and workforce coordination.
- Assist with onboarding documentation and recruitment administration if required.
- Prepare reports, letters, meeting notes, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure confidentiality and GDPR compliance is maintained at all times.
- Support auditing and filing systems to maintain inspection readiness.
Care Coordination Support:
- Assist Care Coordinators with scheduling, live view, and visit monitoring.
- Support communication between staff, Service Users, families, and professionals.
- Escalate concerns, incidents, or operational issues appropriately.
- Monitor visit compliance and assist with resolving scheduling gaps.
- Support accurate recording of care delivery information and logged events.
Quality & Compliance:
- Support quality assurance processes and compliance monitoring.
- Assist with maintaining staff training and compliance records.
- Ensure documentation is completed accurately and within required timescales.
- Help maintain CQC and Local Authority inspection readiness and internal quality standards.
- Support policy updates and document control processes with our operational department.
