A role with our Advisory team will allow the right individual to be part of a fast growing and dynamic team helping BDO clients successfully navigate the Thailand M&A landscape.

 

From buy side to sell side to capital raises, our team plays an up-front hands on role throughout the transaction cycle, ensuring that our mix of local and international clients have all the right information they need in order to make the key decisions.

Responsibilities

Lead financial due diligence engagements, manage client communications, and ensure high-quality deliverables, including:

 

  • Plan and execute due diligence reviews for buy-side, sell-side, or vendor assistance projects.
  • Review and analyze historical financial performance, quality of earnings, working capital, net debt, and key business drivers.
  • Identify key deal issues and communicate findings clearly to clients.
  • Identify normalized EBITDA, non-recurring items, and deal adjustments (debt-like and working capital).
  • Challenge client assumptions and ensure analyses are logical, consistent, and well-supported.
  • Responsible for the full draft FDD reports for manager to review.
  • Manage multiple engagements and ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor assistants and semi-seniors.
  • Liaise with clients, other advisors such as legal DD, Tax DD, and auditors throughout the transaction process.
  • Support managers and partners in business development: proposal preparation, pitches, and market research.
  • Stay updated on accounting and transaction trends relevant to due diligence and M&A.



Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Master’s degree, CPA, or pursuing CPA or other qualifications such as ACCA, CFA or other in the related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Thai nationality is preference.
  • 3–5 years of experience in FDD, audit, or corporate finance.
  • Strong knowledge of TFRS (equivalent to “IFRS”) and understand business drivers.
  • Excellent excel skill.
  • Exhibit professional skepticism and curiosity in reviewing data, identifying inconsistencies, and seeking clarification when needed.
  • Self-learning initiative is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report writing skills.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and manage client relationships.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English.
