A role with our Advisory / Deals team will allow the right individual to be part of a fast growing and dynamic team helping BDO clients successfully navigate the Thailand M&A landscape.

 

Form buy side to sell side to capital raises, our team plays an up-front hands on role throughout the transaction cycle, ensuring that our mix of local and international clients have all the right information they need in order to make the key decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, originate, and develop new business opportunities, with a strategic focus on penetrating and expanding within the Japanese market.
  • Formulate and execute account-specific sales strategies to deepen relationships and convert opportunities into sustainable, billable engagements.
  • Lead consultative sales discussions, positioning the firm’s services as tailored solutions aligned with client business objectives.
  • Deliver professional, persuasive, and insight-driven presentations customised to client needs and industry context.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across both prospective and existing client portfolios.
  • Collaborate closely with internal service lines and leadership teams to ensure alignment of business development strategy and seamless client delivery.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, networking forums, and exhibitions to enhance brand visibility and generate qualified leads.
  • Prepare and coordinate high-quality proposals, quotations, and contractual documentation in partnership with relevant departments.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on pipeline development, conversion metrics, and overall business development performance.


Qualification

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably within the professional services industry i.e. audit, tax, advisory and outsourcing.
  •  Preferably holds CPA.
  • Native or business-level proficiency in Japanese is required, with strong command of English (spoken and written).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Able to effectively work with Thai nationals and understands cultural differences.
  • Solid understanding of the consultative sales cycle, including opportunity qualification, solution positioning, and closing.
  • Proven track record of developing high-quality professional presentations and delivering them effectively to senior stakeholders.
