Deals - Valuation (Assistant Manager Level)

A role with our Advisory team will allow the right individual to be part of a fast growing and dynamic team helping BDO clients successfully navigate the Thailand M&A landscape.

From buy side to sell side to capital raises, our team plays an up-front hands on role throughout the transaction cycle, ensuring that our mix of local and international clients have all the right information they need in order to make the key decisions. 

Our clients range from local and internationals covering a variety of industries

Lead valuation engagements, supervise juniors, manage client communications, and ensure high-quality deliverables including:

• Build/review complex valuation models and challenge assumptions.
• Draft and finalize valuation reports for issuance
• Manage multiple engagements, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
• Supervise, train, and mentor assistants and semi-seniors.
• Liaise with clients and address technical queries.
• Support managers & partners for business development: prepare proposals, attend pitches, market research, and identify opportunities.
• Stay updated on valuation standards (IVS, IFRS, Thai SEC/SET requirements).

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics (Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics with strong finance knowledge also considered).
• Master’s, CPA or passing any level of the CFA exam is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Thai National.
• Over 4 years of experience in valuation, corporate finance. Some audit experience is a plus.
• Strong technical understanding of valuation standards and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated leadership and client management skills.
• Strong presentation and communication skills in English.
