Head of Business Finance

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Business Finance to lead and drive our financial performance analysis and business development efforts. This leadership role ensures the delivery of high-quality, relevant financial insights that shape strategic decision-making and product profitability management. Collaborating closely with regional units and markets, you will oversee current financial performance, forecast future trends, and develop comprehensive business financial models to support growth and profitability.

• Provide thought leadership on financial strategy to drive long-term growth and profitability as well as deliver actionable financial insights for setting business development directions. 
• Lead the development of robust financial models to forecast expected financial performance and align forecasting processes with organizational goals and regional markets dynamics. 
• Lead the initiatives to optimize product profitability through detailed insights into pricing, credit risk and overall product lifecycle, as well as establish the framework for profitability measures. 
• Develop strong partnerships with regional unit teams and market leaders to ensure alignment of financial and business objectives. 
• Lead and mentor a high-performing business finance team by promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. 
• Champion the adoption of best practices and new technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial analysis and planning.  

• Education: 

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA, CFA, ACCA or CPA is preferred. 

• Experience: 

7+ years of experience in business finance, financial planning and analysis, or a similar role. 

Proven track record of success in a complex, fast-paced industry, preferably in financial services or a similar sector. 

Strong leadership experience, including managing diverse teams and cross-functional collaboration. 

• Technical Skills: 

Advanced proficiency in financial modelling concepts and analytical tools (highly advanced Excel, BI tools, etc.) 

In-depth knowledge of financial performance analysis, business planning, and product profitability management 

• Soft Skills: 

Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management capabilities. 

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset. 

Strong communication and presentation skills. 

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
