Job Overview

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Data Entry Technician to support our manufacturing operations in Leeds. This role is responsible for accurately collecting, recording and reporting daily production output and training data, ensuring information is complete, accurate and available to support operational decision-making.


Working closely with production teams, Team Leaders and Trainers, you will play an important role in maintaining accurate manufacturing records, supporting reporting activities and ensuring data is entered in line with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and company procedures

Job Responsibilities

Data Entry
  • Collect daily production output records and training records from manufacturing teams.
  • Accurately enter production output and training data into designated spreadsheets and systems.
  • Ensure all data is entered within agreed daily deadlines.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date electronic records and data files.


Data Accuracy and Compliance
  • Verify all data against source records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify missing, unclear or incorrect information and follow up with Team Leaders or Trainers to resolve issues.
  • Follow Good Documentation Practice (GDP) requirements at all times.
  • Support the maintenance of accurate manufacturing records and documentation.


Reporting
  • Prepare and issue daily production and training reports using approved templates.
  • Highlight any data gaps, discrepancies or concerns to the line manager.
  • Support production teams by providing accurate and timely information when required.


General Responsibilities
  • Follow all health and safety requirements, cleanroom procedures and company policies.
  • Support additional administrative or operational activities as requested by your manager.
  • Contribute to maintaining a compliant, organised and efficient manufacturing environment.

Skills & Abilities Required

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage daily priorities and deadlines.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fast and accurate keyboard and data entry skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependable, reliable and committed to maintaining accurate records.

Required Education & Experience

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.
  • Previous experience in a data entry, administration or clerical role is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience within a manufacturing or regulated environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is desirable.

Working Environment & Hours of Work

  • Work within a controlled cleanroom environment while wearing full cleanroom gowning and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Follow strict contamination control, quality and safety requirements.
  • Support manufacturing operations within a highly regulated medical device environment.


Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7.00am to 3.30pm

Friday: 7.00am to 1.30pm
