Painter & Decorator (Greater Manchester)

  • Full-time (greater than or equal to 30 hours per week)
  • Painting Contracts
  • Greater Manchester

Work will include

  • Painting emulsion walls to a finish including Vinyl Matt, Diamond Matt, etc.
  • Painting Eggshell/Satin/Gloss to a finish on woodwork.
  • Preparing all surfaces ready for decoration.
  • A customer service focus and health & safety awareness are essential. Must be able to work well as part of a team.

Essential criteria

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting & Decorating
  • Must hold a valid CSCS card (blue or above)
  • Relevant trade experience since completing NVQ
  • Commitment to providing the highest standards of workmanship
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team

Desirable criteria

  • Driving Licence
  • PASMA Certification
  • IPAF Certification
  • Experience of working on commercial painting contracts (schools, hospitals, hotels etc.)
