At Redev Technology Ltd, we are looking for a Network System Administrator, responsible for managing and maintaining computer networks, ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of the network infrastructure.
You will be part of a talented software team based in UK, UAE, and ITA that works on mission-critical applications while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Network Security: Implement and monitor security measures to protect the network from unauthorized access, viruses, and other potential threats.
- Network Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve network issues and performance bottlenecks to ensure uninterrupted network connectivity.
- Network Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor network traffic, analyze network performance data, and implement necessary improvements to optimize network efficiency.
- Network Upgrades and Expansion: Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and migrations to accommodate the growing needs of the organization.
- User Support: Provide technical support to end-users for network-related issues and assist in troubleshooting network connectivity problems.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Generate reports on network performance and incidents as required.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with other IT teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other systems and applications.
- Backup and Disaster Recovery: Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Keep up with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in network administration to enhance network performance and security.
