We’re looking for a Statistician to join our growing Biostatistics team, where you’ll collaborate with experts across disciplines, ensuring high-quality deliverables that contribute meaningfully to human health. This is a fully remote working position based in the UK.

 

This role is home based and therefore we require you to have a set up at home that allows you to work comfortably. This includes an appropriate desk and chair (excl. IT equipment which we will provide).

Requirements

Collaborating with Lead Statisticians  as Support Statistician on assigned studies. Delivering high quality outputs according to MAC processes, ICH-GCP, the project budget and timelines to achieve high client satisfaction. Perform or oversee:

  • Key project oversight, planning and delivery from a Statistical perspective, working with internal Clinical and Biometrics teams.
  • Communicate with project teams, clients and vendors on statistical questions.
  • Development of Biostatistics documentation, including Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP), Tables Figures and Listings (TFL) Shells, Randomisation Specifications and Statistical Reports. 
  • Input into Protocol, Clinical Study Report (CSR), Study Design and Sample Size Calculations as required.
  • SAS programming and program validation
  • Review and QC of statistical deliverables (tables, listings, figures, etc.)
  • Perform statistical analysis and report results
  • Work closely with the other Biometrics teams to ensure high data quality in all statistical deliverables.
  • Proactively escalate issues and risks to Management as appropriate in a timely manner
  • To engage in professional development by learning from internal and external resources, and apply that knowledge to support clinical trials.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Educated to MSc level (or equivalent) in Biostatistics or a related discipline
  • 1+ years of Support Statistician experience within clinical research
  • Knowledge and understanding of the statistical principles, concepts, methods and standards used in clinical research
  • Ability to apply a range of statistical techniques in support of clinical research studies and to analyse, interpret and draw conclusions from statistical information.
  • Effective planning, organisational and time management skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Able to meet deadlines and escalate where appropriate.
  • Understanding and experience of SAS programming language (desirable).
