Middle Account Manager

  • Partnerships / Account Management

About the Role

Paybis is an international FinTech company operating in the crypto and payments space. We build secure, compliant, and scalable financial infrastructure for businesses worldwide.

We are looking for a Middle Account Manager who can deliver reliable service to our B2B partners and help grow existing accounts across our on/off-ramp, payouts, and white-label solutions.

This position combines relationship management with commercial responsibility. You will guide partners through onboarding, coordinate issue resolution, monitor account performance, and identify opportunities to expand the relationship.

You will start with hands-on product training and client support under the guidance of the Team Lead, gradually taking ownership of a partner portfolio as your knowledge and confidence grow.

If you are proactive, quick to learn, and motivated by helping clients succeed while delivering measurable business results — we would like to speak with you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary day-to-day contact for an assigned portfolio of B2B partners.
  • Guide clients through onboarding and setup, coordinating technical work with the Technical Integration Manager.
  • Understand each partner’s business model, transaction volumes, geographies, and growth plans.
  • Own client issues end to end: coordinate with Compliance, Payments, Product, and Support, communicate progress, and confirm resolution.
  • Monitor volumes, conversion, approval rates, and revenue; identify changes in account performance and propose practical improvements.
  • Identify and progress upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Paybis services.
  • Run regular partner calls and provide clear account updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Collect structured feedback and turn recurring client needs into actionable input for Product and Operations.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, account documentation, and a clear view of portfolio health.
  • Support pricing changes, amendments, and renewals in coordination with the Team Lead, Legal, Compliance and Finance.

Requirements

Must-Have

  • 1 year and more of relevant experience in payments, finance, account management, customer success, or client service.
  • Experience supporting clients in either a B2B or B2C environment, with clear examples of taking responsibility for client outcomes.
  • Strong business communication, empathy, and a professional approach to difficult conversations.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests, prioritise effectively, and follow through on commitments.
  • Fast learning and adaptability when working with new products, tools, and changing priorities.
  • Confidence working with account data, recognising performance changes, and identifying the next action.
  • Readiness to work independently on routine tasks after training and to escalate issues with clear context.
  • English and Russian at a level that supports professional written and spoken client communication.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience in a crypto exchange, on/off-ramp provider, PSP, EMI, or payments business.
  • Familiarity with KYC/KYB requirements, account limits, and compliance-related client communication.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce and working with analytics dashboards; basic SQL is a plus.
  • Experience in a fast-moving scale-up with changing priorities and evolving processes.
  • Exposure to API-based products, onboarding, or technical integration projects.
  • Examples of growing existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling, or referrals.

What We Offer

  • Base salary + a variable compensation component, with structure and payout terms to be agreed after successful completion of probation period;
  • Contract engagement within the Partnerships / Account Management team;
  • Remote or hybrid work if you base in Riga/Latvia;
  • To be ready to the business trip potentially;
  • Hands-on training and guidance from the Team Lead during your ramp-up;
  • A gradual transition from client support to ownership of a B2B partner portfolio;
  • Direct involvement in partner experience, account growth, and revenue performance;
  • Opportunity to build expertise in crypto and payments infrastructure alongside specialist teams;
  • Medical insurance, L&D budget, performance-based bonus linked to the authorisation milestones, English classes, and regular team events.
