About the Role

Paybis is an international FinTech company operating in the crypto and payments space. We build secure, compliant, and scalable financial infrastructure for businesses worldwide.

We are expanding our B2B direction and are looking for a Senior Sales Manager who can drive new business with banks, EMIs, BIN sponsors, and other regulated financial institutions that need crypto infrastructure they will not build themselves.

This position is designed for a revenue driver — someone capable of independently sourcing institutional clients, navigating complex buying committees, and closing deals through 6–9 month sales cycles involving Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Treasury.

If you are entrepreneurial by mindset, credible in front of regulated institutions, and confident in turning complex commercial conversations into contracted revenue — we would like to speak with you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently acquire new B2B clients across banks, EMIs, BIN sponsors, and other relevant regulated financial institutions.
  • Build and manage a high-value sales pipeline focused on low- and medium-risk counterparties.
  • Identify and engage decision makers across Product, Payments, Partnerships, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Treasury.
  • Build relationships with multiple stakeholders within each account and maintain clear next steps throughout long sales cycles.
  • Sell crypto and payment infrastructure solutions, including on/off-ramp, vIBAN, settlement, white-label crypto buy/sell, and card programme funding.
  • Take ownership of proposals, RFIs, and counterparty due diligence responses, coordinating input from internal specialists.
  • Work cross-functionally with Compliance, Product, and Operations to resolve commercial and onboarding blockers.
  • Drive opportunities from first contact through negotiation, contracting, and onboarding.
  • Maintain strong commercial discipline around revenue, deal economics, pipeline quality, and forecasting.
  • Take full ownership of sales targets and measurable revenue results.

Requirements

Must-Have

  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, including at least two years selling financial products to financial institutions or regulated fintechs.
  • Proven track record of independently sourcing and closing new clients, supported by clear revenue figures and quota attainment.
  • Experience closing at least one deal with a sales cycle of six months or longer, involving three or more stakeholders, including Compliance or Risk.
  • Strong understanding of institutional buying processes and the ability to keep complex deals moving through multiple approval stages.
  • Working knowledge of licence types, safeguarding, correspondent and sponsorship relationships, and counterparty due diligence.
  • Ability to prepare clear, commercially credible proposals, follow-ups, and written responses for institutional stakeholders.
  • High level of ownership and personal accountability for revenue results.
  • English at C1 level or above, written and spoken.
  • Based in the EU, EEA, or UK, or available to work remotely within European working hours, with the relevant right to work already in place.

Nice-to-Have

  • Existing relationships within Tier-1 or Tier-2 licensed institutions in the EU or UK.
  • Direct experience with BIN sponsorship, card issuing, or card programme economics.
  • Experience in Banking-as-a-Service or embedded finance.
  • Prior exposure to crypto or digital assets in a licensed environment.
  • Experience responding to RFIs or counterparty due diligence questionnaires.
  • A second European language, particularly German, French, Spanish, or Dutch.

  • Ownership of a defined territory and the opportunity to build a new institutional client base.
