Job Purpose

ISVPS Academic Team


  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and subject specialists to support stakeholder engagement by offering authoritative advice and ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience for both candidates, internal colleagues and external partners.


  • To maintain excellent working relationships with business partners


Key Responsibilities

  • Support academic partnership with Improve International, SCIVAC and all business partnerships and licensees
  • Collaboration with business partners and licensees to uphold academic integrity
  • Finance support
  • Liaison and support for ISVPS academic team
  • PR/PO creation and invoicing support for academic suppliers
  • Uploading, reviewing and proofreading assessments
  • Support Examination Coordinators and academic team on management of assessments
  • Support with team training as required
  • Examination invigilation as required
  • Attend meetings with line manager and meet with others as the business requires, for progress updates and project support
  • Liaison and support for ISVPS academic/exam delivery teams, with respect to advice on assessments to ensure alignment with validation and accreditation requirements
  • Work collaboratively across academic and exam delivery teams to develop robust policies and procedures to ensure seamless customer service
  • Manage accreditations in collaboration with another team member
  • Overview of syllabi and reading lists where required
  • Marketing/Sales: proofreading of ISVPS documents and webpages, creation of resources
  • Eligibility queries: checking and approving of candidate eligibility
  • Support with creation and review of documents in line with validation requirements from university and professional bodies
  • Creating procedures/documentation for ISVPS, coordinating roll out and acting as connection between teams



Requirements

  • Experience of relationships with stakeholders and external partnerships: essential
  • Experience of working in an educational academic establishment with a sound knowledge of educational issues and academic integrity: essential
  • Experience of curriculum design/assessment creation/writing syllabi: essential
  • Experience in business relations: essential
  • Experience and confidence in using and learning different forms of IT: essential
  • Willingness to learn new IT skills: essential
  • Experience using databases: desirable
  • Experience in proofreading: desirable
  • Qualification in veterinary related fields: desirable
  • Qualification in education (veterinary): desirable
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent English language skills and communicator (written and spoken)

  • Ability and willingness to contribute to meetings in updating team members and management team on examination preparation upload and progress

Benefits

Annual Leave Entitlement: UK 25 days increasing an additional day after 3 years of service and again by an additional day after 10 years service - to a total of 27 days per annum.


Additional Leave: Office closure on the afternoon of the 24th December and the afternoon of the 31st December each year.

 

Pension: UK Employee 4% and Employer 5%. The employer contribution increases with a step change % of 1% increase every 3 years to a max of 10%.
