ABOUT IMPROVE

Improve International was established in 1998 by a group of veterinary surgeons from across the UK. We run Continuous Professional Development training from veterinary professionals to help develop the skills and knowledge required in practice. 

Our programmes utilise a combination of review lectures, case-based discussion and, where applicable, hands-on practical sessions. Within Improve we also have the function of ‘The International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies (ISVPS)’. This function is dedicated to providing veterinary surgeons, nurses and technicians with high quality, achievable qualifications that are recognised internationally.

Then look no further! We are looking for a maternity cover for a senior marketing position. In this job, you can bring your full range of marketing expertise to bear: from offline campaigns such as print ads and brochures to the design and organisation of trade fair visits, classic online campaigns via Meta and Google Ads, and email marketing, you can let your creativity run wild. And best of all, this is a job with purpose: you will be helping veterinarians and, in turn, animals. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing all marketing activities for two brands: med.vet Symposien and Improve Veterinary Education Germany
  • Planning and execution of all marketing activities to drive growth
  • Planning of print products (brochures, flyers, print ads, yearly programme booklet..)
  • Planning of trade fairs (booking, stand design, marketing activities)
  • Overseeing and planning paid ads: Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns (all formats)
  • Overseeing social media content plan, idea generation with the team
  • E-mail marketing: newsletter, nurturing mails, sales sequences
  • Website adjustment, blog articles, content planning
  • Campaigns for gated content
  • Planning and executing leadgen campaigns (open sessions, raffles, quizzes..)
  •  Cooperations: Maintaining and developing relationships with industry partners, vetfluencers, speakers
  • Occasionally travelling in Germany to work on-site for Symposien and IVE (1-2x in quarter)
  • Organizing and delivering team events (quarterly meetings, on-site team event)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Min. 5 years experience in online marketing
  • Proven experience in offline marketing
  • Proven record of being able to work KPI based
  • Tech-savy: HubSpot, Brevo, Meta, Google Ads, Asana or tools alike should be your friends already
  • Very structured, communicative, open mindset
  • Ability to work in simultaneous projects for two brands while always having the big picture in mind
  • Team player: supporting and organizing team activities
  • Experience in leading a team
  • German native speaker
