Description
The Assistant Waiter/Waitress is responsible for assisting the Waitress/ Waiter with serving food, wine and beverageS, recording diner’s choices; suggesting courses; explaining specials; answering food preparation questions; picking up and delivering items from bar, kitchen and service areas; inquiring of needs; clearing courses as completed; issuing bills and accepting payment; set up and break down of restaurant.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Secondary school level education
Good communication skills in English.
The ability to stand and walk for a full 8-hour shift
The ability to balance glasses on a tray and lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
