OPERATIONS MANAGER (UGANDA)

As part of our continued growth, we are expanding into a new business direction — a phone financing operation in Uganda. As we enter this next phase, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on expatriate Operations Manager to lead daily operations, establish efficient processes, drive execution excellence, and support the company's continued growth.

• Oversee and manage day-to-day business operations across Uganda
• Design, implement, and continuously improve efficient operational processes and controls to support business growth
• Support the growth and performance of the retail partner network through strong operational execution
• Monitor and improve operational KPIs, productivity, and service levels
• Lead and develop operational teams to ensure high performance and accountability
• Coordinate cross-functional activities between sales, partner acquisition, customer service, finance, and other departments
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain regular field presence to understand operational challenges and support business performance
• Provide timely reporting and operational insights to senior management

• Proven experience in operations management within fintech, telecoms, financial services, FMCG, retail distribution, or related sectors
• Strong track record of establishing efficient processes and driving operational excellence
• Experience managing teams and coordinating multiple business functions.
• Experience working in emerging markets is highly desirable
• Highly organized with excellent problem-solving and execution skills
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
• Hands-on leader who is comfortable both in the field and in the office
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Willingness to relocate to Uganda and travel as required

• Salary range of 4000 to 8000 gross, based on your work experience, education, and skills
