As part of our continued growth, we are expanding into a new business direction — a phone financing operation in Uganda. As we enter this next phase, we are looking for an experienced expatriate Head of Retail Partner Acquisition to build, lead, and scale our retail partner acquisition network across the country.

OUTCOMES

  • Recruit, lead, and develop Retail Partner Network Area Leads across Uganda
  • Maintain a strong field presence, regularly visiting markets, partners, and Area Leads to drive performance and execution
  • Drive retail partner acquisition, activation, retention, and performance through your team
  • Set targets, monitor results, and ensure consistent execution
  • Build scalable partner acquisition strategies, processes, and performance management frameworks
  • Coach, support, and hold Area Leads accountable for results
  • Identify growth opportunities and expand our retail footprint nationwide
  • Work closely with senior management to execute the company's expansion strategy

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience leading sales, channel, distribution, or partner acquisition teams in emerging markets
  • Strong track record of building and managing high-performing field teams
  • Experience in telecoms, fintech, FMCG, retail distribution, or related sectors
  • Experience scaling distribution or partner networks during periods of rapid growth
  • Hands-on leader who enjoys spending significant time in the field
  • Strong commercial acumen with a relentless focus on execution and results
  • Entrepreneurial mindset combined with strong leadership capabilities
  • Willingness to relocate to Uganda and travel extensively across the country

  • Salary range of 4000 to 7000 gross, based on your work experience, education, and skills
