Job Purpose

The Project Manager will play a key role in supporting the delivery of medical training events by coordinating operational processes with precision and consistency. This role is designed to ensure that every aspect of event execution—from planning to implementation—is handled with a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and cross-functional alignment. The position contributes directly to maintaining the quality, reliability, and professional standards that define Improve Human’s offer in the B2B medical education space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of training events, from initial internal briefing through to execution and closure, ensuring that all operational elements are implemented according to plan.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Trecchi Human facility, including room bookings, resource allocation, and readiness of training environments.
  • Liaise with faculty and clinical trainers to confirm agendas, technical requirements, and travel or accommodation logistics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Scientific Secretariat, and Logistics, to ensure clear role distribution and alignment throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Oversee third-party suppliers and service providers, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with agreed standards (e.g. catering, equipment rental, specimen logistics).
  • Supervise onsite event execution, acting as the operational point of reference during live sessions to guarantee smooth running and immediate problem resolution.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and archiving, including schedules, delivery reports, operational checklists, and post-event summaries.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of operational procedures, proposing refinements that support scalability, consistency, and overall quality of service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project or operations management, preferably within the medical, scientific, educational, or events sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate complex workflows, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with clients, faculty, and internal stakeholders in a professional and effective manner.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges and changing conditions.
  • Familiarity with clinical, surgical, or healthcare training environments (e.g. wet labs, cadaver labs, simulation centres) is considered a strong asset.
  • Capacity to work independently, while also contributing to cross-functional team efforts and shared operational goals.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and platforms, including calendars, project management systems, shared drives, and standard office software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, Teams).
  • Fluency in Italian (spoken and written) and professional working proficiency in English are essential for internal communication and documentation.
  • Flexibility in working hours, particularly during events, and availability for occasional travel within Italy or abroad.
