System Architect (FinTech)

We are looking for a System Architect to join our growing team and contribute to designing cutting-edge solutions in the fintech and cryptocurrency industries. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing scalable, resilient systems in the financial sector, including expertise in PHP, Symfony, microservices architecture, and security standards. The role involves collaborating with technical and business teams, designing architectures for high-performance systems, and driving innovation in system design.

• Business Requirements Analysis & IT Solution Design: Translate business needs into technical architectures, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Design End-to-End Architecture: Including web services, middleware layers, and server-side architecture.
• Consult Business & Development Teams: Provide expert advice on IT architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Supervision & Technical Design Audit: Oversee development processes, ensuring technical standards are followed.
• Research & Development: Explore and propose new technical solutions, developing Proof of Concepts (PoCs) where needed.
• Collaboration with Other Architects & Teams: Improve legacy systems and support development teams in implementing architectural solutions.
• Stakeholder Interaction: Regularly discuss and advocate for target solutions with key stakeholders, including the leadership team.

• Experience with PHP (Symfony Ecosystem) / Golang
• Experience designing new and improving legacy architecture
• Experience designing solutions on AWS
• In-depth knowledge of microservices, SOA, and integration patterns
• Expertise in REST API design principles
• Strong database design & optimization skills
• Knowledge of modelling notations (UML, C4, BPMN)
• Experience in performance optimization & architecture analysis
• Experience with financial regulations (PCI/DSS, GDPR)
• Experience working within government regulations (DORA, GDPR) and information security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2)

• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
• Familiarity with card issuing, core banking systems integration, and mobile app architecture
• Understanding of native mobile apps (push notifications, session management, secure storage)
• Knowledge of GraphQL and RPC API design principles

• Architectural thinking: Ability to think both strategically and technically, with experience in designing scalable, resilient, and maintainable architectures.
