The Opportunity

The Yorkshire Cricket Foundation is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to join our Safe & Fair Cricket team. This is an important role where you’ll help uphold the highest standards of safeguarding, governance and compliance across Yorkshire’s cricket network.

 

Reporting to the Head of Safe and Fair Cricket, you will coordinate key compliance functions across the Foundation and the wider cricket network. Your responsibilities will include managing DBS checks, maintaining training records, conducting policy reviews, and overseeing reporting and audit processes to ensure safeguarding best practice is consistently applied. You’ll also help maintain risk registers and compliance logs, ensuring that learning is captured and shared to continually improve standards.


You’ll work closely with internal departments, cricket clubs and leagues, and external stakeholders to ensure that the Yorkshire Cricket Foundation meets and exceeds expectations set by the ECB, the Charity Commission, and other regulatory bodies. You’ll be a key contact for compliance support across our network and a champion for safe, inclusive practice.

About You

We are looking for people who meet the below criteria:

  • 2+ years demonstrable experience in an administrative, compliance, safeguarding or governance-related role
  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally
