Job Description

Kelly Park Limited is a passionate and dedicated home care provider based in Consett, County Durham. We are committed to empowering individuals to live independently in the comfort of their own homes, while receiving tailored support to meet a variety of unique care needs and requirements.

We are currently looking for two Out of Hours Home Care Coordinators to join our team and help us deliver the highest standard of care to our clients.

In this vital role, you will ensure our clients receive the personalised care they need to thrive and maintain their independence — even outside of standard working hours.


These positions are offered on a part-time, alternate weeks basis, providing consistent weekend and mid-week coverage while supporting a healthy work-life balance for both Coordinators.

Duties & Experience:

As a Out of Hours Home Care Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for managing a designated areas of care schedules, working collaboratively with our team of caregivers & assessors to ensure that they have the support and resources they need to deliver the best care possible. Your role will involve building strong relationships with our clients and their families, as well as with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders in the community.


An example of key responsibilities includes:

  • Planning 2 weeks in advance care schedules of our Health Care Assistants around their availability using our resource planning software.
  • Formulating solutions for changes in schedules, increases and taking on new care packages.
  • Supporting with a diverse range of characters and personalities you will ensure the company delivers high quality care in the community which is both timely and reliable.
  • Handling enquiries from a variety of external partners including local authorities, contracts, hospitals and family members.
  • You will also be required to support out of office on call service on a periodic basis.


Previous experience and knowledge of Home Care is ESSENTIAL as the successful applicant will take on leadership responsibilities of their designated team.


Essential Requirements:

  • Hold a full driving licence and have access to a car.
  • Strong I.T skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience of managing a busy work load.
  • Ability to anaylse a situation and take decisive action in a timely manner.
  • Previous care experience (+NVQ 3 qualified - Desirable).

Working Pattern - Part Time (Alternate Weeks)

We are currently advertising for Two Part Time Positions as Out Of Hours Care Coordinator.


Working Days: Saturday Sunday, and Wednesday

Shift Times:

Weekday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Weekend 07:00am - 3:00pm

Alternate Week Rotation: Two Coordinators will work on a rolling on a alternate week schedule.


This role requires a proactive approach to problem solving, logistics, quick thinking and most important of all a caring nature.
