Media Specialist

The Media Specialist is responsible for capturing and communicating the camp experience through photography, video, social media, storytelling, and promotional content. This role helps showcase the ministry and mission of Forest Glen while ensuring that campers, parents, and church partners remain connected to the life-changing experiences taking place throughout the summer.



• Capture daily camp activities, worship services, games, special events, and camper experiences.
• Maintain organized photo and video files throughout the summer.
• Ensure media reflects camp values and positive camper engagement.
• Take group photos, activity photos, and promotional images.
• Produce highlight videos and end-of-week recaps.
• Create and post approved social media content.
• Develop engaging content for camp marketing and promotion.
• Maintain media consistency and brand standards.
• Collect camper and staff testimonies when appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must demonstrate a maturing faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; and confidently articulate that faith.
• Must be personable, with a strongly developed servant heart and mind; ready at all times to put the needs of the group ahead of their own.
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and creativity
• Strong familiarity with media editing software, photography, videography, and mobile content creation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor ministry environment.
• Must be able to communicate with children and adults in small and large group settings.
• Must be well organized and professional.
• Must be self-motivated and able to manage time well.
